Freeport High School senior student Audra Luecke made it to state for her first time.
“As a senior, it was a great way to end my high school career,” Luecke said.
She went to state on Oct. 24-26 at Hersey High School in Arlington Heights, Ill. She played 4 singles and lost all of them, but she put up a very strong fight.
“It was my first year going to state so I didn’t have much expectations,” Luecke said.

She said it was a good experience and a good way to leave this school.
