Showtime is about to hit the stage for its 45th year.
The varsity choir, technical crew, and show band will perform the musical variety show, Showtime 45, during the first week of April.
Showtime is a musical event that performs a show that goes on every year in Freeport, but also who tour around the country. The tour is an amazing experience, according to students.
One of the biggest reasons that people enjoy watching Showtime is because of the attention to detail that students try to add for the actual show.
“The most exciting part about showtime is when it all come’s together,” senior Mya Ortiz said.
“The up’s are getting to work with kids and getting to work with each other,” choir teacher Britney Kieselhorst said.
Students have to rehearse once a week and, even after practice, they have to practice on their own time.
Showtime tickets are available now. The performances start on April 3 and continue on April 4, 5, and 6 at the Jeanette Lloyd Theatre.
