Homecoming 2025’s theme is “Under the Sea” which students feel like is better compared to last year’s theme: Neon.
Students say that it will be more enjoyable than the previous year.
“Last year’s theme was enjoyable, however in my opinion, this particular theme is more unique and thrilling,” Erykah Pierson, a junior said.
According to the Lead Academy Dean, Deontae Collier, he hopes there will be more for students during the dance like food, drinks, more decorations, and student-selected music.
The student council has decided that the cafeteria would be best for the event although students want it in the West Gym because it has a bigger space compared to the cafeteria.
“The lunch room has been getting more and more crowded for the past years. It’s hard to dance and even socialize without feeling very claustrophobic,” Quinn Krzeminski, the senior class president said.
The Homecoming Dance will be on Saturday, Oct. 4 in the FHS Cafeteria from 7pm-10pm.
