Servant Leadership is hosting a dodgeball tournament for charity on Sunday, Nov. 16 from 12 p.m. to 5 p.m. in the Freeport High School West Gym.
“This is a great chance to get out some aggression and have some fun and raise some money for a good cause,” Servant Leadership Advisor Christy Evans said.
The charity is Hearts and Hands for Hunger that donates meals for impoverish countries during a meal packing day in April.
It costs $2 for students and $3 for adults to attend. It costs $25 for team to enter the tournament. There will be a cash prize for winner.
This is a great way to support servant leadership, according to Evans. The group hopes to have 16 teams participate.
