Freeport High School is adding the Twisted Bean to try and make getting coffee and snacks in the morning quicker, easier, and more efficient for students.
Yet, many students and staff didn’t know or understand what it was and its purpose.
“Oh my gosh there’s coffee in school now,” junior Onyx Schatz said.
Students and staff were still excited for the possibility of coffee at the high school.
“I usually go to coffee shop before school and that can take a lot of time, I usually feel like I’m going to be late for class,” sophomore June Elliott said.
“I think its something that the school was missing,” said Social Studies teacher Josh Bost
While The Twisted Bean was supposed to open after Labor Day, it’s still closed.
