The Lead Academy now requires students to take Psychology and Sociology as part of the Education and Counseling and Mental Health pathway.
This allows students “a good foundation” to learn about the human and how groups interact with each other, Lead Academy Lead and Sociology Teacher Josh Bost said.
Learning about the human mind is very important when you’re going down that career path, Lead Academy Counselor Sarah Shockey said. “The Lead Academy deals with people dealing with people,” Shockey said.
Students like Kazion Morehead enjoy the new classes and feel they’re important for their future career.
