Aaliyah Martin, a senior at Freeport High School is back after a horrific injury where she tore her ACL during a basketball game.
With Martin coming back from her injury, she feels as if she’s playing pretty well, just still learning how to gain confidence back.
“I feel like I’m doing alright; I just feel like I need to gain my confidence back that I had last year,” Martin said.
Martin has multiple goals and expectations set for herself that she is wanting to accomplish this year, such as winning regionals with her team and winning “all star conference player” for herself.

With the next home game being on January 15, fans should come watch to see how well she is playing so far since coming off of her injury.
