In Honkai Star Rail, you can live your dream of exploring the vastness of space, with no training or certification required.
From the creators of Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail is a Space Fantasy RPG and Turn-based game created by Hoyoverse on April 26th, 2023. Upon release, fans were immediately captivated by the stunning visuals, unique animations, and overall story of this game, from surprising to all-around emotional.
The story revolves around the Trailblazer (Stelle or Caelus). In the beginning, they receive a Stellaron placed in their body. After the Trailblazer meets Dan Heng on March 7th, and together, they join forces with the Astral Express to stop the calamities threatening the galaxy.
Throughout the game, you control 4 characters in a turn-based combat format, and each character has an element and a path that they follow. It can be a little tricky to get used to, but if you don’t want to spend a long time figuring out the controls, the game also has an auto-battle function.
Beyond the story and combat, Honkai Star Rail also has a gacha system where you can obtain new characters using in-game currency called Stellar Jades; however, I can understand this may not be everyone’s favorite part, depending on your playstyle.
If you pull for a character, you’re going to need Stellar Jades to pull with, which brings me to my next point and a widely favored aspect of the game: events, and I promise you this game has no shortage of events. There is always something new in each patch, amazing events with generous rewards.
