The Lady Pretz basketball team is preparing for the upcoming 25-26 season.
“Us coaches are very prepared for this season because all of our starters are returning and we know what needs to be accomplished for what we want to achieve this year,” Assistant Coach Seth Heitter said.
All five starting players from last year are returning this year: senior Aaliyah Martin, junior Paityn London, senior Kymarea Parker, junior Keagan Huggins, and junior Da’nesiyah Piggue.
“If every player is prepared and locked in this season, we will all be able to have the season I know we are capable of having,” Head Girls Coach John O’Bryan said.
London and Martin, team captains, hope to win conference and motivate the team to play to their full potential.
With all the starters returning and the team putting in more work to build more chemistry together, they should have an amazing season, according to O’Bryan.
The players wants students to come and watch as the Lady Pretz compete with tough teams this year to win conference.
The basketball tryouts will occur on November 5th at the Freeport High School in the West gym.
