FHS Showtime students have been preparing for the upcoming spring show since last May, choosing the theme and the music to excite their audience with something new. This year’s theme is called “Music Is Contagious.”
They are also preparing by engaging all parents and guardians of the groups so that they are involved, meaning a whole community ready to carry on the Showtime legacy.
Showtime students are also excited for this year’s tour in Nashville.
“I’m excited to go to Dollywood, you know, I’ve never been there. I’m also excited to spend some time with the group,” senior Tyler Houston said.
The students will have a little more leadership on how things are done. They are in charge of the choreography and responsible for choosing out the music.
The Showtime students are growing bigger and stronger with a lot of sophomores, juniors, and seniors.
“I have eleven seniors that do a fantastic job leading the group. We have a good culture already which is great, and that kind of teamwork and collaboration is going to go a long way,” director Ryan Jensen said.
