The FHS Boys Basketball Team will play for the regional title on Friday, Feb. 27 at Rochelle high school.
“We’re gonna do everything we can to get this win no matter the challenge,” said Kazion Morehead.
The Pretzels played Belvidere North on Wednesday and won 62-58.
Morehead said the team has great team chemistry and size, which will help them during the game.
“We can stay more composed by making the right plays at the right times,” Dwayne Mosley Jr. said. “That’s a good advantage we have that a lot of other teams don’t.”
Mosley said the team wants to win and will do whatever it takes tomorrow.
Students can attend the game by taking a fan bus provided by the high school. Students need to pick up a permission slip form from secretary Andrea Luy.
The Pretzels current record is 11-21.
